I am so excited to finally do a resort wear edit with all the things I love from MYTHERESA! Whether or not you are planning to travel soon in the sunshine, It’s also a great time to invest in summer pieces that will last for years to come. MYTHERESA has so many wonderful designer brands to choose from their massive collection of dresses, swimwear, shoes and summer accessories. We have finally made it to Mauritius and I can’t wait to show you how I’ve styled some of my favourite pieces this year!
FOR THE BEACH
There are so many gorgeous swimsuits that I have been loving and I’ve always believed that if you invest in a good swimsuit it will last for years to come. I’ve always been obsessed with Oséree swimwear as their signature metallic fabric always looks super stylish. I have them in a few colours and I’ve linked some of my favourites below – I especially love the bikini sets with the high cut and waisted bottoms.
Magda Butryum is another brand I’ve always worn on holiday – their pieces are definitely an alluring poolside staple! I loved wearing the red bikini set with the rose detail in Italy last summer and this year I know I’ll be wearing the floral set which I purchased on repeat. The detailing is super cute with a white cover up or kimono. A black swimsuit is always the perfect investment piece and the Madga Butrym black bustier swimsuit is so flattering, comfy and the cup detailing is so chic.
I’ve also linked some of my favourite beachwear and poolside pieces to wear during the day on holiday. MYTHERESA has the most wonderful collection from Prada this season. I love the striped high rise denim shorts which I’ve styled with their white cropped T-shirt. I also invested in the denim belted playsuit which looks super cool with a pair of sandals. I also LOVE these cropped Balmain T-shirts in various colours which are fab over a swimsuit or with bikini bottoms for that 90s vibe!
FOR THE EVENING
There’s nothing like dressing up on holiday after having a relaxing day tanning by the pool. I am totally in love with my new pink Christopher Kane pleated midi dress which is so stunning. It fits so perfectly and is totally a stand out piece – definitely a dress I will keep for years to come. I am also loving the Christopher Esber collection on MYHERESA. The white cut out maxi dress is a beautiful piece and the stretchy ribbed fabric makes it so comfortable too. You can also dress it up with a pair of white heels in the evening or even a pair of sandals for a more casual look. I am also loving the green ribbed knit maxi dress which is so gorgeous too.
SHOES
I’ve always been obsessed with shoes and it’s always hard to pack so many on holiday. However, I always just pack one good pair of heels that I know can be styled with almost any outfit. I pack a more versatile pair which is usually a metallic or neutral colour. The Saint Laurent silver sandals are gorgeous and the Gia Borghini white leather sandals are so practical for a holiday too.
The Jimmy Choo embellished heels are so stunning and definitely an investment pair that are going straight to my wish list! I’m still loving chunky sandals. My favourite this season are the Prada quilted leather sandals as they are so simple yet so chic. The neutral colour is also so practical on holiday. The Gia Borghini sandals are also super comfy. I know chunky sandals are not for everyone, but if you are after a less chunky pair Gianvito Rossi has a gorgeous pair of leather slides.
BAGS
MYTHERESA has such an amazing collection of bags this season. I love my Khaite Jaffa tote for the beach which is so practical for travelling and fits so much too. I’m also obsessed with the Loewe small raffia shoulder bag – it’s such a gorgeous summer staple. The Prada crochet white tote is super cool and I loved styling it with my Prada outfit. If you’re looking for a chic evening holiday bag, the Loewe convertible bracelet bags (that come in many lovely colours) are just amazing since you can totally transform how the bag looks for two totally different looks.
JEWELLERY AND ACCESSORIES
Styling summer pieces with accessories can totally transform any holiday outfit. Maison Michel has a gorgeous straw hat which is the perfect finish to warm-weather looks. You probably know how much I love my Celine sunglasses which I literally wear on repeat throughout the year so I’ve linked them too.
I’ve always been a massive jewellery addict and Sophie Billie Brahe has the most stunning collection on MYTHERESA. The pearls are all so stylish and I’ve linked some of my favourites. I’m also a big fan of the Magda Butrym pearl earrings that are also a great price point. I’ve also linked some caps I love and the Prada hair accessories which are super cute.
