I’ve been so happy about this glorious weather and that the sunshine is finally out which means we can start thinking about more summery outfits!! I’ve recently had so many questions about summer dressing so I wanted to do an edit and share some of my favourite pieces from My Theresa! SUMMER DRESSES
I absolutely love summer dresses as they are so fun to style, wear and can easily be layered with a cardigan for the chilly evenings. Cecilie Bahnsen has the most wonderful collection of dresses on My Theresa which are perfect for the summer and so timeless! I love their signature cotton dresses as they look so elegant and the pastel blue and pink colours are so beautiful. You probably know I am obsessed with my Kalita silk dresses especially because of the low-cut back and the relaxed fit making it ideal for the warmer months. Self Portrait is also one of my go to brands – this Pink dress is just so pretty, I love the tulle and the polka dots its beyond gorgeous.
SUMMER BASICS
Bodysuits, tees and a pair of jeans make the perfect outfit for the summer months too! Khaite always has a great collection of flattering jeans and they last for years – I usually get the high rise fit which are so comfy. They can perfectly be styled with their beautifully structured knit tops too that you have probably seen me wearing non stop this year- they really are worth the investment as you can wear them throughout every season!!
A pair of leggings are definitely one of my go-to basics and I have linked my Totême pair which are such a good fit and can easily elevate any outfit. For the warmer months they can easily be styled with the Totême cotton tank top which is a great price point and such high quality. As the British weather is so unpredictable, of course I had to include a trench coat! I love the oversized beige Frankie Shop one as it’s so versatile and durable.
LOUNGEWEAR
I still get asked about loungewear (although some are so over it!) and have found some amazing pieces last season that are also great for the summer months. I previously shared my Frankie Shop cotton sweats which have been so popular and they are such an affordable price point too. I also love their wool blend sweatpants with the sweater vest which totally elevates any loungewear look! I’ve also linked some of my favourite Khaite knits as they are so comfy and cosy for the cooler evenings during the summer.
SUMMER FLATS
I’m so glad that we can finally start to wear flat sandals with the warmer weather (especially since most of us have probably forgotten what it’s like to wear a pair of heels!). My Theresa have the most amazing collection of sandals this season, especially from Bottega – my absolute favourite brand who have the most gorgeous candy coloured shoes right now! I’m also loving The Row Ginza sandals again this year, I got so much wear out of mine last year. These Valentino sandals also so gorgeous and so versatile, perfect to style with a summer dress or a pair of jeans!
BAGS BAGS BAGS
I love a great bag, and I am totally in love with the design and the quality of the Bottega Veneta ones, I use mine other ones so much that I invested in the peach Point bag this season, I love the colour, its so versatile and will go with all my summer dresses. The other bag I use ON REPEAT is my Loewe Pouchette bag, which is super light, cross body or over the shoulder so it is super easy to use and wear.
