Although I love the summer, I am definitely excited for the next season ahead and ready to wrap up for the colder days! I always get asked about my wardrobe staples that have lasted me for years and that I wear on repeat every season, so I wanted to dedicate this post to all my top staples from NET-A-PORTER. They have the best collection of timeless pieces from the most incredible designers! It’s always my favourite platform to shop on too, and they have some amazing exclusive pieces I love.
KNITS
There’s nothing I love more than wearing a good quality and cosy knit for the Autumn/Winter season. I have had some knitwear in my wardrobe for years and they still feel like new! Toteme is a forever favourite brand that always have such good quality staples. I love the oversized cable knit sweater which is super comfy and such a versatile design. Their stripe jumpers are also gorgeous too and were extremely popular last year. I also love the LouLou Studio Pemba cashmere sweater which you may have seen me wear, it’s a great price point for this incredible quality cashmere piece. You probably know I’ve been wearing the Khaite cardigans on repeat, and this season I am loving the khaki colour.
BOTTOMS
So many have asked about denim jeans recently, and I have been wearing the Citizens of Humanity Ayla high-rise wide-leg organic jeans on repeat – they are such a good pair and at a great price point too. I know the next season I will be wearing my Toteme leggings non stop, their ‘cork’ leggings are super stretchy and I love the high rise shape. The zipped cuffs also make them look slightly more smart if you’re wearing a pair of flats too. I’m also loving leather bottoms this season, the Wardrobe.NYC leather leggings are so stylish, and I love the Nili Lotan shorts which I wore recently with a pair of tights and boots. The Gucci cashmere-twill straight-leg pants are a great investment piece and the tailoring is so luxurious.
OUTWEAR
I always think it’s important to invest in a good quality coat as they will last forever. I have loved the Toteme cashmere and wool coats as they are so stylish. The shawl collar and open front makes it perfect for layering and can be styled so easily. I also love their Leather-trimmed shearling jacket which you probably saw me wear alot last winter. An oversized blazer is also a great piece to wear as the new season begins. The Frankie shop Bea blazer is super cool and has a soft, unstructured design which can be worn over a neutral knit. I have also been a fan of Max Mara for years, and their coats are literally like being wrapped up in a blanket! They are so easy to wear over anything and always make any outfit stand out. I’m obsessed with the Khaite Grizzo oversized studded denim jacket which is such an incredible unique piece, and it’s oversized fit with a pair of boots and leggings looks so chic for the Autumn months.
SHOES & BOOTS
A great pair of boots are always essential for the colder days ahead. I love my zip up boots from The Row which I’ve worn on repeat the past few years from the Fall’ 19 runway. The chunky rubber sole gives an extra height and they are not too heavy so you can walk in them comfortably. The Toteme Riding leather knee boots are another favourite pair that I’ve been wearing non stop through the winter months. I also love a good loafer for Autumn, which you can easily style with a pair of leggings or jeans and a knit. The Gucci Cara logo-embellished textured-leather loafers are gorgeous this season. Crystal-embellished satin ballet flats are definitely my favourite pair of shoes right now. I adore the Magda Butrym ones, which come in black and white. Khaite also have a super cute one which is so glamourous.
BAGS
You know how much I love a good bag, and NET-A-POTER always have the most amazing collection from many incredible designers. I’m loving the Bottega sardine bag which is super chic and comes in some lovely neutral colours this season. I love the brown one. I absolutely love Demellier this year, and their Cannes shearling clutch is also super cute for the season! The Saint Laurent Jamie quilted leather shoulder bag is another one I’m loving this season which comes in black and brown. The Loewe Puzzle Fold convertible medium bag is so chic and the colour tones stand out on any outfit.
