I am so excited to be writing this blog post with Karen Millen as I have been loving all their collections the past few months. They have such a wonderful selection of premium clothing as well as gorgeous shoes and statement jewellery pieces. I wanted to share some of my favourite bits with you from their site and I’ve also managed to find some great dupes of classic timeless pieces that you’ll wear on repeat.
TOPS
There are so many amazing basics on the Karen Millen site right now which are great quality. I’ve had the asymmetric rib cut out knit vest for a few months and been wearing it on repeat. It’s super comfy and can be styled with jeans or leggings. The rib knit vests are also lovely and come in so many colours – such a good price point too! I love the lace detail jersey bodysuit which is so elegant for the evenings. I always think every wardrobe needs a pretty black top which you can easily style when going out and I would totally pick this one!
SUMMER DRESSES
It’s a great time to start investing in summer dresses as the weather is finally getting better! I was so excited to be wearing the orange crochet knit dress. I love the knit detail and the oversized shoulder is super cool as well as the gorgeous open back! This is such a great dress for summer – especially if you want to add some colour into your wardrobe. I also love all the cutwork dresses, especially the woven mini white one (which I would style with the tie heeled sandal for a night out in the summer). It’s so hard finding a detailed slip dress and I came across the gorgeous blue and white one so I had to share!
DARK DRESSES
I always get asked for black/dark dress recommendations so thought I would do a separate section for this. Dark dresses are always so useful since you can easily style them and wear them on repeat. They are so timeless, simple and chic for the evenings. The leather button A line dress really reminds me of my Chanel one and is so elegant. I also can’t believe I found a similar dress to my Alexander McQueen one which has been in my wardrobe for years (you can see it worn here)!! The compact stretch military one looks so similar and I love the belt and detail of the bottom. It’s a great investment piece which will always be so stylish and last for years to come.
SHOES
Karen Millen has such a wonderful collection of shoes. Everyone is loving platform sandals right now and I came across the 70’s snake platforms which are super cool. I am also obsessed with the gold espadrille platform sandal which is perfect for summer and so practical since you can style them with almost anything – great for packing if you just want to travel with one pair of heels on holiday! The tie leather heeled sandals are also stunning if you’re looking for an elegant and chic pair. The lilac colour is so lovely. And the pink metallic knot sandals are beautiful! The prism heeled mules are a great pair too – they come in so many cool bright and bold colours and totally make any outfit stand out. I am also loving the diamond black satin slingbacks which elevate any look.
JEWELLERY
You probably know how much I love jewellery so of course I had to have a section for this too! The tweed gold plated necklace is so gorgeous and is a stunning piece if you don’t just like wearing a thick gold chain on its own. They also have a matching tweed bracelet which is super cute to style together. I love the gold plated statement earrings which would make a lovely holiday accessory with a simple maxi dress in the evenings. I’m also loving the gold plated snake necklace which comes in two sizes. They are such a statement piece at such a good price point.
